Ultimate Playoff Moments: Kobe's Heroics in Game 4
The first buzzer beater proves that the interpretation of the traveling rule was different back then. Kobe could have gotten a lot more separation if he had taken the extra “Anthony Edwards-step”, but he knows that would be a travel, so he makes sure to jump off two feet out of the pivot.
Fuck texas!😅😅
Man, Kobe Bryant 💔
Man this was a low scoring game
Back then when defense was dominant in the nba and now that type of scores are types when you go into halftime
Kobe and Mike are above everyone else
All these years I thought Horry had hit the 0.4 shot for us lol funny how memory plays tricks on you sometimes
@michaelphillios9302 15 sec into the clip same move not called and a travel. You talking to Kobe biggest fan I know bro.

This was really like our last championship run with kobe we had the pieces to win that year imo but we fell short . 😢 R.I.P Kobe
at 1:10 Fisher was like "alright thats it, im taking over"
It’s amusing how much time fluctuates in sporting events. Sometimes it’s right at the catch and other times it’s a slight delay. This seemed like they gave him a little extra time to make the shot than he rightfully had with way clock started as he was already turning with the catch
“The Lakers are gonna run all the way to the plane before the officials review it.” 🤣🤣🤣
70 points in the 4th quarter is crazy
This video gets better every time 😆
Legendary Kobe. This play I never forget
Let's appreciate that there was a playoff game with a COMBINED score under 150..... I don't think we will ever see that again
Wild 3? Your dumb
The shot Tim Duncan made before that was absolutely ridiculous and is forgotten because of fishers miracle shot
Jordan wouldn’t of even got the 2nd 3 to the rim. 3 pt line wasn’t moved up like the mid 90s for him. The eye test shows exactly what Phil said that Kobe is more skilled than Jordan. Phil said Jordan had those hands. Who cares about hand size when he can’t dribble left. Kobe’s range. Degree of difficulty on shots. Better handles by far and footwork is superior. Jordan was great at attacking the rim but Kobe’s right there with his dunks as well.
Mj couldn’t do this that’s why he Kobe
"One lucky shot deserves another" - Shaq
Kobe is Top 2
The ball was inbounded at half court... unnecessary time out clause/rule.
I miss Mark Jackson man, commentary classic
Duncans shot would be remembered as one of the greatest buzzer beaters ever if fisher missed that shit
There’s NO way. That was the biggest bullshit. It’s not humanly possible. He literally HOLDS THE BALL for almost an entire second. They simply didn’t start the clock on time. Which hey, you’re in San Antonio, that’s on you. But still. The ONLY possibility of legally scoring with .4 seconds left is a volleyball style, finger tap. Not a catch, turn and shoot 😂😂😂.
But hes human And he did it Now demonstrate what scumbags are capable of 👇
Saw it live !! Was amazing
Am I the only one tripping over the scoreboard?! 72-73 w/0.4 seconds on the clock 😮
Next time you guys go screeming for another MVP without an All Defensive title, remember this was Kobes standard on both sides of the ball. Stop watering down expectations of greatness. NBA is F*cking soft now
All that offensive talent on both teams and they couldn’t score more than 75 points. I miss the old NBA
Legendary
Been a Lakers fan for 40 years and I will never forget this. I hated the Spurs so bad. I remember punching the air that day in excitement
Fixed lol
the dude who controlled the clock, man oh man
Scores weren't tied so it doesn't matter, but I still like the idea of the Lakers hightailing it to the airport.
3 very amazing shots tbh
...Kenny made this one... Lol
And the rest they say is history
Shot clock at 5 Jab step Puts up a three BANGG!!! Kobe Bryant from downtownnn!!
Best playoff game winner, ever.
I remember tuning in the game like in the last 2 min in my basement… when Duncan made his shot I thought it was over and the Spurs was on their way to the Finals… the timeout, everyone thought it was over, Duncan and Ginobili smiling etc… then the play… I believe there was another timeout tho… but when Fisher shot it I screamed ! The rundown to the dressing room I was like oooooooooohhhhhhh
These stars with the 2 greatest coaches of all time ... Nba was something else in 2000s.
Kurt Rambis just casually writing down notes after Kobe hits the second 3 is just such an underrated part of this 😂

Here in 2024. Still in awe, still crying! 😭
